Adopt Me -- Coming soon Tyra & Roxy

Calie has been going to Agility classes fun matches thanks to our volunteer Savanna. She was a bit afraid at first with all the dogs and people roaming about... but she has come out of her shell and started to go on some introductory pieces of equipment. Calie boasts a ton of potential for any dog sport enthusiast. She loves to play in daycare, and gets along with cats. We are accepting accepting applications on her now. call (780) 471-2275 for information on her (or any of our other dogs).

Calie

Hi - I am the sweetest little Border Collie Jack Russell Terrier Cross around town. I have looks, brains and speed all wrapped up together in this 7 month old (ish) body. I am so playful, and I absolutely LOVE to learn. I dream of a life filled with Agility, flyball or any other dog sport you care to teach me. I am very active and energetic and will need my human counter-part to be equally so. I love to play with other dogs, toys and people and I am even good with cats. If you think you can keep up with my needs then you better call quick.

Pixie has been attending Basic Manners class (thanks to our great volunteer Ken) at Dogspaw. She is doing great, learning to be even more of a princess then she already was and getting ready to WOW the next person who comes to meet her. Not only will she be beautiful, she will be talented and bright also. :-)

Pixie

Well hello there! My name is Pixie, and I am soooo glad that you stopped by to read this! The people at PAWS think that I am a Lab cross around 7 months old, just a puppy. I’ve gotten along great with every dog and person I’ve met so far, and I LOVE attention, especially belly rubs. I am very smart and while I am high-energy and love to play; I also really like quiet time and cuddles. I've learned so much about manners and where to go (when I have to) from a very nice PAWS volunteer. I am looking for my one and only furever home, so please stop in to meet me. Bye for now!

Sadie - still available

Ahhemmm... Hi! Helllloooo... Hi there... I'm Sadie - and I would really love to meet you. I thought I was adopted, but sadly it didn't work out..I used to be scared, but as long as you give me a place that is warm, cozy and I can be a bit spoiled then I am just as happy as any 3 year old could imagine. I am a Miniature Pinscher that has a lot of love to share...with people, other dogs, cats - anyone who wants a little lovin' really. The way to my heart is through warm blankets, regular food and fresh water. I could probably stand learning a few manners, but come on - really? I am cute, do I seriously "need" manners? I am crate trained - isn't that good enough? Oh ya, my favorite trick currently is to pull the covers off my crate, so if you cover me up, I will humor you with how I can uncover myself from inside. Wanna see? Then you better come and meet me quick - talent like this will not be available long.

Annie is doing well... they were not able to find any reason for the seizures at this time, but we will continue to monitor her until we find her a foster home (or better yet, forever home). Since we do not know the cause of the seizures and she has (to our knowledge) not had any more - she is not on medication. Her sight is getting better and she is happy to see people now - meaning, she approaches people instead of waiting for them to approach her. She was very happy the other night when Jo-Ann went in to visit her (and she really does not know Jo-Ann). :-) All good news on the Annie front today.

ANNIE is back!

The PAWS people call me Annie because when I came in I was all raggedy. They found me a home, but because I'm partially blind, I get a bit growly when children surprise me so I came back to find a better fit. My blindness was caused by some hemorrhaging in my head which was a direct result of being hit in the head with or by something prior to coming to PAWS. However, the hemorrhaging is subsiding and my eyesight is beginning to come back slowly. They say that I may even be able to recover completely and regain sight back to normal. Mine is a sad story with a happy ending for a dog that, not very long ago, seemed to have a very bleak future. If you are looking for a snuggly friend, and don't have any children, I'd love to meet you!

Scooter has now been neutered and had a lot of dental work done. While it was not very easy for him, he pulled through like a little trooper. He spent the night at the vet clinic, but he is back now and recovering. He will be available for adoption again soon, so we will be reviewing the applications early next week.

Scooter

Thank you, Thank you.... please, take your seats... really thank you! You are all so kind. Wow... what a warm welcome. Being the most eligible bachelor in town certainly has its perks. I have received so much fan mail well it is just overwhelming - thank you! Ok, so I have decided now it is time to find that special family to settle down with and make my life long commitment to - the hard part will be deciding who of all my many followers it will be. I thought I had found a nice family but it didn't work out. I have certain "needs" and of course more "wants" than "needs" - but come on now, what guy doesn't. I am not picky on male, female, or a family of both, age does not matter at all to me, you will need to be able to financially appease me (like I said - lots of "wants"). I definitely need someone who has a lot of love to give, a lot of time to spend with me, and a lot of patience to teach me "life skills" - at 5 years of age, I still need to know a thing or two since I am told that my good looks will not get me through my whole life (even though it has until now). So, I am currently accepting applications, if you fit the above requirements - send it in to my agents and they will be in contact with you really soon. TaTa... Love you all!

Bella

Hi! My name is Bella- that means “beautiful” in Italian. I am probably a Lab or Collie cross, approx 1 yr old. I had an accident in Dec. and I've been through so much. I ended up having to have it amputated, but I get around really well and I'm completely healed! I'm also a Youtube star!! See Bella & Bailey playing! I am a sweet shy girl, but I am starting to warm up as I open up a little more every day. I love people and I am currently looking for my furever person: are you the one for me? Please stop by so I can show you how beautiful I am inside and out! If you can donate to help pay for Bella's surgeries, please Contact Us or go to our Home Page and click on the "DONATE" button!

Molly - Adopted

Hi - I'm Molly and if you went in the dictionary beside the word "Diva" would be a picture of me. The people at PAWS found me a new home with someone who has offered to take the position of my personal assistant, hair dresser, and chauffer! Better yet -- they already love love love me!

BRIE - Adopted

Hello, my name is Bree the boxer. I am really shy and scared when you first meet me and I shiver from my fear, but I warm up quick. I have a very trusting and kind soul and now PAWS have found me someone who is patient and understanding ...but still willing to build my confidence, rather than let me live with fear. I will be going to my new home really soon and I am just so happy - I've waited a long time for a life like this!

Wally - Adopted

Yo! Wally here... I am pretty easy going, Not much bothers me. I think I found the perfect Pal who wants me to be his best friend. I'll be hanging out at his place soon and can't wait to have that nice warm lap to sit on! Thanks PAWS for finding my perfect human!
