- Bella is doing really well on 3 legs! Bella is getting along very well with 3 legs and she has her bandage off now and her stitches out. She is definately ready to go to a new home. Bella has lost her leg Bella had her weekly appointment to have her bandages changed and it was found that she had dry gangrene which caused nerve damage to her lower leg - it is not really common but can happen in some animals after the cast has been removed. Unfortunately Bella has now had her leg amputated. We're so sad for Bella, and now we must start the fund raising all over again. Please donate if you can to cover Bella's vet expenses!
