Bart's new family wrote on the PAWS for Life Foundation facebook page:

Bart is a fabulous addition to our family - he has settled right in & it's felt like we've had him forever - thanks for doing a super job finding homes for these wonderful guys. Bart & Christian - friends forever! Sarah, Dan & Christian!

Jett is an amazing dog, so loyal and happy. Eager to please. He's still a puppy so he's a bit high strung and demanding, but I just let him follow me around... he loves being with me. I'm sooo happy I got him. I can't imagine our lives without him :) Heather
Everything is going really really well with beans. He has been the best dog for us. When I get a chance I will send you some pictures of him. Everything that we were told about his behavior has been different with us. He loves everyone. I just think the biggest thing with him is he just needed a steady home, some place that wasn't going to give him up. He is the best company for me when Matt is away for work. Please let everyone know at the shelter, he is doing really well. Ruby

It’s been well a year now since we adopted Roxanne and she's doing great. We still call her Roxanne, although I do call her Roxy, Baby girl, Angel, Dolly and many other names that describe how special she is to me.
She lives with me and my husband, and she has great manners when kids visit. Everyone loves her and can't believe she is a rescue dog. I think she is a great advertisement for encouraging people to choose a dog from a rescue as everyone falls in love with her when they meet her!
She adjusted very quickly to the routine in her new forever home. After she realized that when we went to work, it didn’t mean we were leaving her forever and we always returned in no time at all, she was fine. Now, she goes back to bed before we even leave for work!
She goes for walks every day after work and is a great walker. She has gone from a timid little girl, to really feeling very secure and sure of herself around everyone in the neighbourhood. In the summer, we go out to a park and by the time fall came around last year, she was spending a lot of time running, playing and exploring off leash, but she always keeps one eye on me and doesn’t venture very far away.
She loves to play so much. She even makes up her own games, like rolling her ball down something and chasing it, dropping stuff off the bed and then running to get it. She is encouraged to play, play, play and has a basket full of toys in every level of our house, just in case!
Thank you to everyone who cares for these guys until they get into good homes and I am so grateful to the volunteers that brought her out to the PetSmart that wonderful day, February 14, 2010, when I found her. Tammey
She's so smart as well as cute. We walk four times a day and she meets other dogs and their owners in the off-leash area. She comes when called and can be trusted to go off-leash. At first she was afraid to let me leave her sight. Patches now will come to the basement while I do the laundry, although she still won't go in the garage to get in the car for a ride. It's a joy to watch her play with her balls and stuffed rabbit. She enjoys her bullies(chews), and has enough energy for both of us. Still, she lies patiently in the condo garden under a tree while I dig out all the dandelions and thistles. She's a real treasure! Aileen
Leo the Great was welcomed on June 23, 2010 into our home. He has done very well. In Jan 2011 Leo had back surgery and had to be penned for 6-8 weeks. He is doing well although we do need to watch that he doesn't reinjure himself. Leo's BFF is Patches, a bipedal tuxedo cat. Leo is also good friends with Tyger, a 14 yr old tortoishell cat. We also have Snowball and Smokey. Leo has completed our family. He is such a joy and you can tell he is happy and loved. We kept his name as he seemed to fit it. We have shortened it to Leo and he loves it.
We adopted jade a little over a year ago from paws. She has fit right into the family. She was a little timid at first but moving with strangers would be scary for anyone. Jade loves playing in the snow, going camping, meeting new friends at he dog park, and taking lots of naps. She also likes to show off her running abilities to her friends. We are so thankful to have Jade in our lives. Thank you so much, Brian, Katherine,& Jade
Tinni adjusted exactly the same way like our two boys (Edward & Simba). All of them doing just great and we have a lot of fun ! Take care, Peggy
Cleopatra has had some trials & tribulations (like meeting her first porcupine) since she's been with us, but she fit into the family quickly. Cleopatra really loves her new brother Ringo & her cat Chili, and is such a happy loving girl. The horses know how sweet she is and they let her hide underneath them when she gets scared of the big blue sky. Thank you PAWS for rescuing our sweet girl Cleo and taking such good care of her until she found me! Lauri
I just thought I would say hello and let you know how Timmy is doing. He has been a wonderful addition to our family and we couldn't be happier that he has joined us. He and Lily (our Greyhound) get along really well and together they have both become more and more confident. He is getting better and better with strangers (still not too fond of children, but we have not had a lot of exposure), and he even recognizes certain friends and greets them with a big wagging tail. We can't imagine our home without him in it and we wanted to thank you and your staff for rescuing this wonderful guy. Sincerely, Robert and Shirley
I am writing to thank your organization for rescuing Shelby, now Faustus, and giving me the opportunity to adopt him. I cannot believe somebody left him at the pound. Faustus is generally well behaved, arriving house-trained and knowing basic commands. He's very gentle and sociable; loving children and women. Faustus is a little leery of men, but does come around eventually. He has become an integral part of our family. Thank you. Jody Fraser
We just wanted to let you all know how Sophie and Blitz are doing. They are great and have adjusted well to their home with us. They were the right match! The area where Blitz was neutered had healed nicely and even though you didn't get to know him that well, he really is a wonderful, loving, gentle little guy. It's astonishing that his previous owners never came for him. And of course Sophie is the sweetest, cutest little girl. It's suprising that no one ever adopted her sooner. I guess she was just meant to be a Magerowski. Sophie has enjoyed playing in the snow whereas Blitz prefers to stay warm under the covers. The poor guy does his business and runs right back to the house. He has his own little blue jersey top that he wears in the house and sometimes Sophie wears her pink hoodie. We don't have pictures of them in those outfits but we are sending you a one with them in their Christmas tops. We want to wish everyone there at Dogspaw a very Merry Christmas and to let you know that Sophie and Blitz have brought a lot of joy into our lives and to let you know that we love them very much. Charlene, Vienna & Orest Magerowski
