It’s me again, Avril! I’m happy to tell you that I’ve found a foster home. I’ve been there for a couple of weeks, and Paws and I are continuing to learn a lot about each other! Home life is pretty cool. I’m not really a couch potato; I like to keep myself fit and healthy by running and playing constantly. That being said, with enough exercise I will enjoy some down time with you and hang out for a snuggle. Paws wasn’t sure if I was housebroken or not, and truth be told, I’m not really sure either! I get let outside regularly, and as long as I have those frequent trips outside, I don’t have any accidents. If my foster mom waits too long though, it’s too late to ask before I realize I gotta go! Now that we’ve learned this, she makes sure I get frequent trips and go out very first thing in the morning, and we’ve been great ever since!
I have been successfully introduced to a couple of dogs in my foster home, although I’ve demonstrated that I can be quite picky with my playmates. I get overly excited over small things like cats and rabbits so a home with small animals including small dogs aren’t an option for me. Once I settled in with my housemates though, we actually discovered that I’m a polite player, although I don’t always clue in that the senior dogs can’t play as long as I can. I still need to work on my manners when I meet dogs though.
At night I sleep in a crate quietly. My foster mom tried having me loose, but I didn’t appreciate the other dogs disrupting my beauty sleep. My crate is way better because it’s my own space and since I’m so energetic during the day, I need my rest!!
It’s exciting that Paws is learning more about me, but I really still want to find my forever home. If I sound like a good fit to your family, fill out an application for me! I promise to be your best friend for life.
